They were three times more likely to have mild sleep problems (like bad-quality sleep, having trouble falling asleep, or insomnia) than serious sleep problems like sleep apnea. The women who had mild sleep issues â" even those who slept for seven to nine hours a night â" were âsignificantlyâ more likely to have elevated blood pressure.Said Aggarwal, âIt may be prudent to screen women for milder sleep disturbances in an effort to help prevent cardiovascular disease.âThe study was published in the Journal of the American Heart Association. You might also enjoy⦠New neuroscience reveals 4 rituals that will make you happy Strangers know your social class in the first seven words you say, study finds 10 lessons from Benjamin Franklinâs daily schedule that will double your productivity The worst mistakes you can make in an interview, according to 12 CEOs 10 habits of mentally strong people
